Hello December!

Hello people!

It’s been a long 2 month hiatus from the blog and trust me it wasn’t one that I had planned. Quite a lot of things have happened between my last post and this one. For starters, I had hit a plateau when it came to coming up with new ideas for posts and didn’t really do much to push myself. The longer I went without blogging, the harder it became to get back to it. Also, during the time I was prepping for interviews in the hope of my work permit kicking in, but it so turned out that even that was going to take a while. So eventually when frustration hit the roof I decided to go another way and took up a course! 😀 And since November, I’ve been quite content with juggling coursework, work on the home-front and well, my routine need to just chill…

Nevertheless, all along I knew I wanted to get back to blogging in December because (if I haven’t already said this enough) IT’S MY MOST FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR! 😀 … I love everything about this month – winter, hot chocolate, the warm fuzziness of the holiday spirit, Christmas songs playing everywhere, bright lights and decoration, snow, Christmas and oh, my anniversary apparently! 😛  This is the time I obsessively play Michael Buble’s carols on a loop all morning, light my cinnamony candles, watch Home Alone: Lost in New York (because lets face it, no one ‘does’ Christmas like New York! ) and insist on getting my hot chocolate only in their Red Cup at Starbucks to the point of embarrassing myself. Which is why starting today, the madness will extend to my blog and for the next 25 days leading up to Christmas, it will be Blogmas here! There will be a new post everyday for the next 25 days and it will be about all things Christmas and Holidays! I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m super excited and also quite glad to be back to this li’l space of mine on the internet 🙂
